Keansburg is in Monmouth county in New Jersey, one of the United States of America. It has been a popular tourist spot from around the beginning of the 20th century, through to the 60's, when a terrible hurricane wiped out much of the park. Weary NYC residents would ferry over and spend the weekend, or summer vacation. The park, and town enjoyed its popularity for many years and is now part of American culture.

Attractions

The 100+ year old amusement park is still there, and offers an inexpensive alternative to places like Seaside or Wildwood. Many renovations have been made to the park since the storm that wiped it out in years past, but there is still a lot of history in the park, including the "Spook House" which is one of the oldest amusement rides still running in the United States, possibly the world.
